I actually enjoy teaching and reading Dickinson's poetry. It's short. It's full of metaphors. It's about heartbreak and unrequited love. What's not to love? But they've heard it all before, so emphatically they tell me they know all about Shakespeare and Dickinson and Poe and commas and so on and so on. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I just bought the blue printed version of this dress at Target. I was fearful that it would be a little too short, but I think with tights or leggings it's ok. I saw the dress on my hair stylist this weekend...and I also saw her underwear, hence my fear of the length.

Thank you!
Seriously cute! The red/orange accents are beautiful against the blue. Emily Dickinson is one of my faves - she packs a world of meaning into a few carefully chosen words. :)
Absolutely adore this! The print, the colors, that belt! I'm such a sucker for orange. :)
so cute, what a gorgeous smile...

Katies must just have great taste ;)
I don't own much orange, but this has made me a convert!
You are so right about Dickinson! I love teaching her because it's incredible what kids are able to pick out on their own!!
This dress is so gorgeous! It definitely suits you. :) And this is one of my favorites of Emily Dickinson, despite the fact that many people claim that it's over-hyped. I love it!

Nothing by Dickinson is over-hyped within today's teenage society. They are clueless!! So why not start with something so great!?
Amen times a million!
