Make Me a Bird. So I Can Fly Far.

I really like birds. I mean I have two bird tattoos, and a handful of bird-themed blog posts (Exhibit A, B, C, and D for starters!), so it's pretty obvious. I love a good bird print, so when I saw this blouse at Old Navy a couple of months ago, I snapped it up, at full price (which is unheard of for me!!). I wore it once, but I hated the final result, so I chose not to blog it.

However, this time around I was very pleased with the final results! The only thing that would make it better would be Megan giving me her shoes (just saying!). I don't know what it is about birds that I find so appealing. I know they are very trendy right now, but I've been fascinated for years.

In college I tried to convince Curtis to buy me a parrot, and keep it at his place since I lived in a dorm with a very strict no pet policy. He refused. In elementary school, my local Wal-Mart had a parrot named Rico in the pet department. He wasn't for sale. He just stayed there in this ginormous cage, flapping around and talking to you. Awesomeness.
