Until now. It's time. Time for me to show that women of all sizes can wear shorts and look great! I saw these shorts one day while window shopping online, and I knew they were the ones. Lacy, blush pink- so cute and girly. They are a little shorter than I would prefer, okay, maybe, a lot shorter! So how did I counteract feeling a little out of place and a little over-exposed? Well, duh! I strapped on 4-inch wedges and pranced around town taking pictures at a busy intersection. So much for not standing out (of course that scenario sounds slightly streetwalker-esque)!
I'm going to spend A LOT of time this summer talking about shorts- long shorts, short shorts, the dreaded chub-rub (you know what I'm talking about!)- but today I just wanted to be cute and delicate and a little impractical.

I have a love/hate relationship with shorts. They are totally cute, but I hate when they bunch up in the crotch when I'm walking...TMI? haha :) You look great - those shorts are SO pretty!

Those are so darling! I've been looking for some shorts for summer, but I haven't found anything that is cut the way I want them. I suspect there is an evil plot afoot in the manufacture of shorts, because even the shorts made by companies that manufacture pants that fit me beautifully the shorts just fit...weirdly.
I have a couple of extra pairs of khaki capri pants, and I'm thinking about having them cut down into shorts. If that works out, I may just shop thrift stores and spring sales for slacks that fit me properly in the waist, hips & butt and get them cut down.
A pocket watch and lace?!? Those shorts are so adorable! If I wear shorts, I wear Bermuda shorts. I'm a little scared of short shorts, but lace might quell my fears.

Hee hee "chub rub"? You mean it has a name? My sons love to tell me my shorts are too short and that's when I only wear short-shorts around the house and when we kayak (makes potty breaks easier tee hee). You look adorable!
Those are short, but you've got really nice legs. I wouldn't wear anything that didn't come to my knee tops because I cannot bear the thought of killing people with the sight of my thighs. I tend to go for capri length in the summer, but I'm in a part of Canada that doesn't really get terribly hot except for maybe a week or two, so it works for me.
