Sprung Has Sprung! How to Wear Boyfriend Jeans, Part 3

The switch to Daylight Saving Time is always rough, but it is SO worth it! While the calendar and the groundhog may still be saying it's winter, as far as I am concerned, spring has sprung. I have really struggled this winter with Seasonal Affective Disorder-like symptoms- oversleeping, lack of energy, overeating, and depression, so I am excited to have some more sun in my life.  I know every one gets the winter doldrums, but for me it has been really intense this year.

So I have decided to create a list of things I am looking forward to as Spring returns:

1. Grilling out and eating dinner al fresco!
2. Getting home and it still being daylight!
3. Being able to take Sean to the park after picking him up from daycare!
4. SPRING BREAK!
5. Sitting on the back porch listening to music, sipping a cold drink, and reading!

Boyfriend jeans are going to be so fashionable for springtime, so if you haven't already bought a pair, get out this weekend and do some shopping! They are super-casual and comfortable, but also undeniably chic!

I love that grassy green background. It's so beautiful! I am also looking forward to the warmer weather. Although I don't have a backyard with a grill, my parents do!

Super cute outfit! When you say boyfriend jeans, what do you mean? Loose around the top or? Sorry to be so ignorant!

You better by a pair this weekend, or... or... or.. well I can't really do anything to you, but I'll be really, really disappointed! ;)

Not ignorant at all! Boyfriend jeans are just really loose and relaxed through the hips and waist and thighs (like you are borrowing a pair of your boyfriend's jeans). The are super casual, and are usually worn cuffed to the ankle or mid-calf. You can wear them with flats or heels (for a dressier look). I live in mine on the weekends!

I am too, but the mornings are still killing me right now! I hope you have a great weekend too!

Thanks, I took these at my in-laws' house. And hey, food's even better when someone else is grilling it!!

Thank you! I was at my in-laws. I love it out there in the country!

Thanks! I think I already have a pair that are kind of big, so I can use those and roll them up. I love shopping my closet, much cheaper!

Like the floral top and the colors -- you look so fresh and pretty in that green field. :) Awesome boyfriend jeans, too. :)

I love boyfriend jeans, but I haven't found the right pair yet! Do you know what kind of cut is best for boyfriend jeans?

Old Navy and Gap both have specific boyfriend jeans that they are selling. But anything loose and relaxed through the thighs that you can cuff will work! You may have a pair already that you can use, especially since you've lost so much weight, hot momma!!!

Thanks! My goal this weekend is to find a pair.....I know, its a pretty pathetic goal, but it is what it is:)
