So what's better on a Monday than super obnoxious plaid and colors? I hadn't owned a plaid shirt since my unfortunate venture into the grunge scene in the 1990s, but when Old Navy issued these paper-thin, beautifully colored plaid shirts for the spring, I couldn't resist the siren's song! Pair the plaid top with a pair of coordinating cropped pants and I am ready to face anything- even a Monday!
I thought about ending the blog with another music video ("Manic Monday", anyone??), but decided against it...

Did you add some red/maroon to your hair or has it always been like that? Regardless, looks good!
And even though you didn't add it, I definitely have Manic Monday running through my head now. Which, random fact, was the first song I ever did karaoke to!
There are no words to express how awesome that plaid shirt is. I too fell victim to the grunge trend in the 90's. It's nice to see that old trends are popping up again. I wonder when slouch socks and scrunchies will come back.

Your little guy is so adorable! And loving this look - the plaid and coordinating crop pants are such a great way to brighten a Monday up! It's currently grey and rainy here in Van and I'm nursing my boyfriend who just got his wisdom teeth out so trust me...I'm totally with you when you about Mondays being less than amazing!

I got the pants at Old Navy too. I was really worried the first time I wore this outfit- so nervous I didn't blog it in fact- but I got so many compliments I decided to go for it!

Poor boyfriend- wisdom teeth extraction was awful for me, so I feel his pain. It ended up really rainy and blah here too, so it was nice to have some color in the day!

Lordy, I hope slouchy socks never come back... but I admit- I wouldn't mind a scrunchie revival ;)
I did have a little added, but it is totally faded now. However, the coloring must have been off in some of those pics because the dark of my hair looked nearly blue and I assure you I didn't do that!
I love Maniac Monday, and a much more respectable first karaoke song than "Summer Lovin'" I have to say!
