| Happy Mother's Day to me!! |
The tree was huge and had ripped down all the power and cable lines for us and the next-door neighbors. I am so thankful the tree didn't do any serious damage to either house because I know it could have been much worse. We spent the entirity of Mother's Day with chainsaws, cutting up the tree and dragging limbs. It was not ideal, but the entire family rallied for ten hours and got it done. I am thankful for my husband's family- three generations out there working (including three moms on Mother's Day!) together toward a common goal.
But the lack of internet has really messed up my blogging schedule! I will be back up and running tomorrow with an awesome Wardrobe Challenge organized by Tori at My Thrifty Chic and I can't wait for you to see it! In the meantime, bear with me and know I'll be back (say it in the "Terminator" voice so you'll know how serious I am!)

It wasn't ideal, but it could have been so much worse, so I am thankful!

You would have done a much better job, but it has inspired me to to relearn some basic sewing this summer. So that's a good thing!
