Putting Me Together Guest Posts

I cannot even begin to how excited I was when Audrey from Putting Me Together asked me if I'd be interested in doing a guest post for her while she was out of town. I jumped at the opportunity because I love her blog, plain and simple.

She has a great layout and she offers practical advice. This is something not many bloggers do. She shows readers how to remix items in their closet already, how to pack for trips, and she rocks a denim jacket like nobody's business. Plus she's totally cute and relatable, someone you could totally see yourself being friends with in real life!

I actually contributed two guest posts to Audrey, so I want you to go over and check them out today.

The first is a collection of tips for flattering your curves.  The second post delves into the world of belts- a world I was terrified of until a year or so ago.

So check 'em both out and leave any comments or questions you might have. And here's a sneak peek at tomorrow's post!

Hi Katie! I'm a follower of Putting Me Together which lead me to your blog - love it! I just MUST know where you got the leopard cardi that you posted today under the "Belting Your Curves Tip #4" .....I want one!
Thanks for all of the great "curvy" tips, as a classic pear shaped woman it's nice to see an alternative to the super skinny sometimes. Thanks again!

Well, I am soooo glad you came over here! Thank you so much :)

I got that cardigan from a Gap Outlet back in November, so it's probably not available anymore, but I will try to find something similar for you!

I am so happy you liked the posts! I really appreciate it!

I used to be terrified of belts until one day my niece told me that placing a belt higher serves to define an hourglass figure and detract from a not so flat belly. Since then, I've purchased a couple and have bravely started incorporating them into my outfits. I was happy to read all the wonderful tips you offered in your guest blog post. I love the idea of contrasting! :)

That's exactly how I felt about it! I had a friend who kept saying, "Wear a belt!" and I was horrified. You want me to do what? But you are so right. A belt in the right place can make you look so much more streamlined!
