I wrote a really great post for tomorrow's Tunesday Tuesday. Well, I think it's great, but I may be biased. When I finished it and started to insert photos into it, I stopped. I didn't want to put pictures of me in a pretty outfit into the post. I felt like it was good enough to stand alone.
But I am scared. As a blogger you always wonder, "Are people actually reading this or just commenting on my pictures?" I'm sure we are all guilty of this at one time or another. Blogging is an exhausting (yet incredibly rewarding) hobby for me. I'll be honest though- there have been times when I have really poured my heart out in a post and been a little confused when someone posts "Cute outfit" or "I like those shoes". At the same time, I'm sure I've done that to bloggers I like too.
I've noticed most bloggers put all of their pictures at the beginning of their posts. But I am scared. If I do that, will you scroll down to read? Or will it take too much time? That's why I always break up my paragraphs with my outfit pictures. I hope that at the very least you will skim my writing. But today I am putting the pictures first. Not really sure why. Am I trying to punish myself? Am I trying to make things easier for you? What kind of layout do you prefer from your bloggers and why?
