I cannot tell you how long I have been searching for something apple-printed that wasn't either too small or too expensive, so I was head over heels when I saw this top online at Forever 21. Even though it's not in my list of Fashion Must Haves for fall, I couldn't resist the sweet print and the even sweeter price!
I admit I was a little wary of the Peter Pan collar (seems a little young to me), but unbuttoning it seemed to loosen it up a little. I liked pairing it with the boyfriend jeans for a casual look, but I will definitely be tucking it into a pencil skirt for work, and maybe even for my own Meet the Teacher" night!

I have a pattern that has a peter pan collar and flutter sleeves and I've been going back and forth about making it up, but I think I'll do it! The collar style doesn't look at all little girlish as I thought it would, it just looks crisp and finished off. In a soft fabric it'll look really nice. (I have to admit I'm glad it's not just me that gets those little ribbon hanging loops sticking out the front of my blouse! LOL!)

Apple print on a teacher!?! Too cute! There was an apple print dress at Target...but if I tried to bend over even a little all my goodies showed. Apple print is supposed to be cute and whimsical, not slutty...haha.

I love this outfit! I have felt the same way about the peter pan collar, but you pull it off wonderfully. But what I want to know is where did you get those shoes? They are fabulous and I have been looking for a pair of red flats...

Adorable outfit! :) I tend to steer clear from peter pan collars, too, but I think this one is not so noticeable because it's the same print as the top (vs. being a solid color). I like that you left it unbuttoned, too. This top will look splendid tucked into a pencil skirt for work. :)

Soo cute! You should definitely wear that on the first day. Is Sean excited? When does school start there? Here it starts on Sept. 4th. My baby will be in 1st grade. Gone ALL day!! How did this happen? lol We've already paid about $230 before the end of last school year for this school year's lunch time supervision fee and after school starts we'll be hit with another $100 in school fees!
