| Cardigan and Boyfriend Jeans- Gap Wedges- Kohl's Top- Forever 21+ |
So my least favorite day of the week has got to be Sunday. I feel like I spend the entire day preparing for the week ahead- washing clothes and dishes, preparing dinners and lunches, picking out clothes for myself and Sean. It's so hectic anyway, but then throw in a big dose of lesson planning and paper grading, and hopefully you can feel my pain, or at least my pressure.
But all of that aside, I had a great, restful weekend and I am ready to go kick Monday's butt! And wear something that's not covered in fruit. Guess it's time to find a carrot skirt or some eggplant earrings ;)

I love this outfit! And I think fruit prints are adorable, so I don't mind at all :) Your hair looks great.
I hate Sunday evenings - I can't enjoy my night knowing the work week starts the next day! It's awful.
I love the fruit prints. I hate Sunday night. I just can't relax thinking about all the stuff I didn't get done over the weekend and won't have time to do during the week.

Haha, I don't think I have any fruit prints! I love this one on you, so fun and whimsy. Sunday nights are just awful because you're dreading the inevitable.

The fruit prints are awesome and there would be nothing wrong with adding another to your collection :) I hate Sunday nights...I get more and more depressed the later in the night it gets. But I hate Mondays even more!

I love how these colors look against the rather bleak backdrop and how the little yellow flowers match the cardigan perfectly. Great photos!
LOL! I am a crazy fruit wearer too! Looked at that top on Forever 21 I don't know how many times. But love how you vamp it up with lipstick and yellow cardi! So pretty!

I love the fruit! Who cares what the kids think, what do they know anyways? LOL I empathize with your Sundays, Teaching is a 7 day/week job sometimes :/ I hope your week goes smoothly though!

Theme outfits, to match your lesson plans...the Ms. Frizzle of HS English!
I like this top a lot - the color looks excellent on you!
Well, I do what I can to keep them entertained, but sadly, a magic school bus just isn't in the budget ;)
Thank you, Jenny! And I agree- the orangey-red and yellow is so cheerful and fun!
Fruit envy! Thank you, Cambria!
They know nothing about true fashion! ;)
Monday was great- here's hoping the rest of the week follows suit!
Crazy fruit wearers unite! I look forward to pairing it with a pencil skirt and a red cardigan too!
Thanks, Selah! We loved those little wildflowers (probably weeds!).
I know! There's nothing worse than the alarm going off on Monday morning. Well, maybe waking up five minutes before the alarm goes off. That sucks pretty bad!
Yes! I put off going to bed as long as I can because I know the sleep will not be long enough!
Thank you, Rebecca! I try!!
Exactly. The worst feeling ever. I mean I realized Saturday night that I literally didn't do one single productive thing the entire day. It was pathetic!
I'm glad other people feel this way. I thought it was just me, so I am feeling a lot better. I was lucky with the hair- good hair day!
Hey, embrace your fruit-loving weirdness. I'm amused that they noticed, though I suppose fruit prints are distinctive, huh? Anyway, the cheerful colors are stellar. (:
love monday colours - its a great big holler of a start to the week - i sympathise soo much over your sunday stress, my least favourite day for the same reasons as you, especially the 9pm ironing marathon (daughters and school uniforms and a load of pleats-weep!) i understand your pain! x sandra
what a fun top! And I love that you added a bright cardigan - this just makes me happy :)

Such a colorful and fun print! The yellow sweater really makes the print stand out!
PRETTY!!! Love the colors, you silly fruit! ;)
One of my fave outfits! Put it in the HFH Hall of Fame!!
Yay! Thanks!
Thank you, Laurel! :D
I was definitely bright! You couldn't miss me!
Me too! I love this yellow cardigan!
I admire you for the ironing. If I can't knock out the wrinkles with the dryer, then it's just going to be wrinkled. This girl does not iron! So ashamed to admit that!
It's crazy what kids notice! Subtle hair differences, shoes, nail polish. But heaven forbid we do homework or take notes!
