So, this top from Dorothy Perkins was a nice consolation prize. Not exactly what I was looking for, but it was cheaper and probably a bit more realistic than a ginormous fuzzy fox on a grown woman. I'm all about running a hipster trend into the ground (see birds, owls, and mustaches for examples) and there is some seriously cute fox stuff going on. Seriously. You can buy any of it for me. Seriously.

Ok now, whoa! Foxes are the new owls?! Nothing can replace my beloved birds & owls... although that fox sweater comes dangerously close. I can see why you were obsessing over it. I think that top is just as cute, and you will get more wear out of it. It would look so cute with skinny jeans and long cardigan.
I see you got the skirt in a different color. I walked around ON with the green one for about 15 minutes yesterday before deciding not to get it in favor of getting a long sleeved shirt. I actually like this shirt way better than the sweater. Like Megan said below, you'll get more wear out of it!
