This weekend I was the very definition of overindulgence. I'm not proud of it, but I'm pretty sure if you looked it up in the dictionary today, you'd find a picture of me in there. Curtis and I had a rare full Saturday alone, and we really went all out. We aet out for all three meals and napped (well, I did) and watched football (well, he did) and were pretty worthless.
Of course, if you follow me on Twitter then you witnessed the debauchery live and with photographic evidence. Pizza and pumpkin beer for lunch, hamburgers and mixed drinks for dinner, and the dessert to end all desserts, A Samuel Adams Ocktoberfest Beer Milkshake. Yep, you read right- a BEER milkshake. Guys, it was amazing! Get thee to a Red Robin IMMEDIATELY!

It's no wonder I woke at 2:00 AM Sunday feeling like trash. I wanted to puke; I felt that miserable. So I chugged some Pepto-Bismol and stayed up reading until my stomach felt settled enough to go back to sleep. Lesson learned. I've been really watching what I eat and eating healthier the past few months, so my body rebelled against all the grease and alcohol and fat. Or I'm getting r-e-a-l-l-y old. Either way, I'm too old for that crap!

Love those shoes! Girl, I overindulged this weekend, too....dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant on Friday, lunch at a huge Chinese/American buffet on Saturday, and I baked a roast and made a vegetable casserole, candied yams, asparagus, and banana pudding for supper yesterday. I love food a little too much. ;)
What a cute tunic! And I'm loving that lip color on you - very pretty.
My weekends are always full of overindulgence. Fried foods, alcohol, naps, shopping... it's bad. This one was no exception, though I did NOT have the honor of drinking a beer milkshake! Kevin and I will definitely be trying one soon though :)
You look beautiful and I love those shoes! My weekends are pretty much like that all the time. Lots of eating and lots of laying around in front of the tv, haha. Sometimes the week is just so long and stressful that you just need to unwind on the weekends and enjoy yourself! By the way, I love Red Robin!

Sometimes it's nice to indulge yourself a little, but I know what you mean about that sick feeling after a weekend of eating junk. I indulged a little too much this weekend in the shopping department. I was doing a really good job of doing the one in, one out shopping ban... then H&M had a sale on sweaters and I bought 6 of them...
That beer milkshake sounds pretty amazing! I know what you mean though, if I eat too much fried foods I feel like total crap.

You look awesome, Katie! I love that first picture. Overindulgence is bittersweet. Feels kinda awesome to let yourself just do it, but like you said, it definitely does not feel awesome after. Especially the older we get! I know I can't be eating like that anymore or else I feel gross for days after. But you know, a daily bowl of chocolate ice cream...that's a different story hahaha.
LOVE your outfit Katie! I saw your beer milkshake picture and have to admit I was a little skeptical...I mean beer and milk...recipe for upset tummy. BUT I may give it a try!
This outfit is amazing! So simple and chic, with the belted tunic and nude booties. I also love the touches of cobalt in the tunic print. :)
Too bad your overindulgence had some not-so-great side effects. ... but I'm sure it tasted delicious at the time. :)
Love the leggings & tunic on you! The wedges are too cute!
Sometimes alittle splurging and overindulging is good. Thats what Pepto Bismol is for! ;)
Such a cute outfit! We were pretty worthless on Sunday. I felt like such a slug. But we got a lot of much needed sleep, so that was nice.
Last week I made cabbage with mushrooms and bacon for dinner. We've been mostly vegetarian since the beginning of this year and the bacon and bacon grease messed me up. I was miserable for about 3 days. My point is that I can kind of relate. lol Hope you feel better today!
I love this outfit! But then again, I love everything you wear. Please tell me why I'm never able to find cute wedges in Target like the ones you have on. I can't remember the last time I ate a really healthy meal. I really have to exercise and start eating fruit. Sigh. :)
Sounds like an amazing weekend to me! I have been on a huge junk food kick, and I'm not proud of it, but I still don't really care :D I love the print on your blouse, is it blossoms or feathers?

I know the feeling. When I have one of those days were I eat crap all day, I always feel disgusted late at night or early morning the next day. Glad you got to have a day off for yourself though!

A beer milkshake?! That's just too good to be true. And omg, I'm preparing myself for a few of those nights come November anyway - this program has really kept me feeling clean and good and I just know that the second I let myself indulge (which I will need to) my body will fight it. Well whether or not you weren't feeling amazing in these pictures, you look beyond stunning - love the shoes, and those grey tones look stunning on you!

You had a ball! We all need a break like that sometime :) You look great lady. Your pose in the last pic is AWESOME!
Beer milkshake-wow, sounds interesting, would love to try!:) I know exactly what you mean-I started paying more attention to what I eat and feel much better without fast food and greasy snacks (of course I crave for something horrible sometimes, but not as much as before:))
