I continue to love this mustard pencil skirt from Old Navy (why aren't you sponsoring me? WHY?!?), although I'm afraid it may go in the StoreEnvy soon because it's getting baggy. Tip: if you are looking at buying this skirt, which I highly recommend, and just myself bought the brown one this week, size down because it's big. Today I paired it with camel brown wedges and belt and the classic chambray button-down.
Of course I realize NOW that I don't have a picture of said camel wedges, so you'll just have to take my word for it. So did I overdose on fall trends? What else can I wear this skirt with, I've got lots of options in mind, but I'm always looking for other remixing ideas. Might as well help me, because you are going to see it a lot. Hope your Wednesday is awesome! I heard Lisa Loeb's early 90s ballad "Stay" on the way to work and immediately downloaded it. My point is- I'm going to have a kick-ass day :)

LOVE this! That skirt is great!
Getting that skirt this week! I'm in love!
I think this is my favorite look of yours yet! I love love love these colors together and the accessories tie it all together perfectly. Also, your hair looks fantastic :) Beautiful, Katie!!
I love this outfit, on style but not overwhelmingly so. I totally love mustard all the time though... xo
I don't think it's trend overdose. Looks great! I've always loved yellow and blue together. I think mustard would look really good with a deeper, richer blue. Just don't add red into the mix because then you'll look like Snow White. :)
Katie, this look is awesome and I don't think it's trend overload at all! The mustard pairs perfectly with the chambray, and I love that your necklace is a unique version of the "blogger" necklace. Have a great week, lady!
You are such a stylish dresser. I really like this outfit and you look great in mustard!
Love mustard too and the outfit. I can't seem to come around buying or wearing that "blogger necklace" though.

I. WANT.THAT.SKIRT! But it was sold out when I went online and in the stores :( I love your outfit though and I don't feel like you overloaded the trends at all!
You look so pretty! Love the skirt and love that necklace! And I'm totally picturing the camel wedges, haha! Um, I love 'Stay'... such a great song!

Lovely outfit, Katie! Sometimes I feel like I am on trend overload as well :) But you are ROCK'N every.single.one of those trends! I LOVE mustard and jewel tones: purple, raspberry, cobalt. And of course ivory or white would be very cute! Oh and pumpkin would look great as well. I think I need that skirt!!
Katie, you made me giggle. I think I wrote about the obligatory blogger bubble/statement necklace a while back, maybe slightly poking fun, but admitting that it does look good on many of my fave bloggers, like you.
I would love to see The mustard skirt with a sheer oxblood shirt! and black boots. Chambray shirts are a classic, the skirt style is classic and the necklace is the TRENDY item to me. Blogger item du jour lol. The color of your skirt may be trendy NOW but actually mustard is always in for fall, along with dark teal, dark red (this oxblood color lol) and cobalt blue as well as amethyst! I also really love your hair in this post. Maybe you could do a tutorial for me and my straight locks sometime!
I just realized the caps, my phone auto caps them from where I usually type them to my bff like I'm yelling at her. Sorry! :)
I am not a blogger. I enjoy reading them and yours is one of my favorites. I often find items in my closet that are "trendy" in the blogger world that I have had for a long time. I have that exact Old Navy skirt in mustard and can't wait to wear it with my jean shirt!
With that said, I think your outfit is not trendy at all. It looks great on you and I can't wait to see the camel wedges.
Thank you so much, Michelle! I love reading them too- I have like 30 I read every day! I really love this ON skirt. It's so great and I think it's going to prove itself very versatile
I think it looks awesome! Love it!
First, LOVE the song Stay!! Second, love the outfit! I like all the trends mixed together. Today I've been working on a fashion post featuring the chambray shirt. I got one a month ago and can't get enough, I wear it once or twice a week. The outfit combos are endless. Anyway, you look great!

I think you're safe from a trend overload - this look is just perfectly fall-esque. Love the mustard tones on you, and the denim top was the perfect thing to pair with the bright colours!
