In the small town where the wedding was being held, we ran across this Halloween display outside of a beauty salon. Too cute, right? I love The Wizard of Oz (I was actually a beautician in a production of it two years ago), so I had to pose with the guys! The dress is a silk number from Old Navy. It's that beautiful oxblood, burgundy, chianti color that's so popular right now. Luckily it's a color I already like. The wedding was outside so I did layer with some cable knit tights, and boy was I glad!

Granted this week we are supposed to have highs in the 80s AGAIN, but for now I am enjoying the brisk weather and the cozy clothes.

I love fall too! Like you mention, the fall hues are just great and did I mention I love wearing scarves? It's quite brisk here and while I haven't yet worn tights, I'm already getting my warmer clothes out of storage. :)
