Usually weekends are pretty low-key over here. We mostly chill at home in our pajamas, watching TV and playing with Sean. Sometimes we venture out to McDonald's for breakfast. Sometimes we get super wild and crazy and go grocery shopping. This past Sunday we had major cabin fever, so we bundled up and headed to the local zoo.
It was an absolutely perfect trip- no crowds, beautiful weather, active animals- except I brought our camera without the memory card AND with a dead battery. What kind of blogger let's that happen? Oh, I was so dang mad, and I had to take pictures with my iPhone. I didn't let that dampen our spirits and I still managed to get a few good photos!

That dead-battery nonsense happens to me, too ... I wore two cute outfits on Saturday, and the camera battery was dead. :( I'm glad you took iPhone photos anyhow - the zoo is so much fun!
