Best. Week. Ever.

So, in a nutshell, this week has pretty much rocked my face off. Monday I (sadly) missed school to go to a couple of doctor's appointments. While multiple weight checks and vials of blood taken, in addition to a flu shot and EKG for my faulty heart, isn't exactly a "good" time, it did mean I only had a four-day work week. Frankly, that's ALWAYS a good time. Right?

Tuesday... I'm struggling to remember. Oh, yeah, I got to host detention after school. That was not best week ever material; however, now I'm don't have to deal with that anymore. Wednesday is a blur.

Yesterday, it snowed. Now I know that's pretty normal for most of you, but down here in the South, snow shuts things down. We had ENTIRE counties with every road shut down. We had massive exoduses (exodi?) from public and private schools alike. I was like a kid and not a teacher when the principal announced we were dismissing at 12:30.

That means I jumped around and yelled at the top of my lungs, in case you were wondering.

All OLD Old Navy on the body today

Sean and I spent Thursday afternoon playing in the slushy snow and drinking hot chocolate and watching TV. He got out of school early, so he concluded that we were having the "funnest day ever"! I was inclined to agree.

And school is starting late today. I don't have to be there until 9:30- That means I can sleep TWO hours later than usual. Ummmm, it doesn't get any better than that trust me.

Except- we don't have school Monday! Woo hoo! BEST.WEEK.EVER.

Love the stripes and floral pattern mixing! It is so funny that you guys got snow because there's no snow here (which I'm very happy with). Have a great 3 day weekend!

I miss living in the south where everything shuts down for snow. Snow isn't as fun when you have to tromp through it on your way to the bus at 8am. Thanks for reminding me I need ot wear my mustard pencil skirt more:) Enjoy your 3 day weekend!

I love how you're like "wait, that's not really the best thing ever" but you're still... "Wait, it's the best week ever!" Lucky for all the time off this week and day off on Monday! Enjoy it!

I love how bright and cheerful this outfit is! The yellow skirt is so cute, and the pattern mixing of course is perfection.

loving your yellow skirt, I have a very similar one! I'm also jealous about your snow day :( I want one! It hasn't snowed in my hometown in almost 20 years!! Even though I spent a great deal of time in Chicago, I'd like some snow in LA ;)

Very cute outfit! And for some reason, I would never think to wear yellow in winter. I'm weird. LOL Love the pattern mixing...I'm such a chicken when it comes to pattern mixing so I never do it. You look great though! We had a 2 hour school delay yesterday and YES for being off on Monday!

Dont you love it when things come together towards the end of the week? You and son sounded like you were having a ball! Snow days are the best!

Oh, I can't agree with you enough. I definitely don't want to actually have to do stuff in the snow. That would be the worst!
