A Love Affair with Lace

Just in time for spring, the ladies of Gwynnie Bee are curating some of their favorite lace pieces for a collection called "Wild and Lacy".  If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time, then you know, I have a thing for lace.

But it hasn't always been that way. For years I avoided lace, as being too "old-lady" or "doily" looking, but now I embrace its feminine and romantic nature. Some of my favorite lace pieces (also all Kiyonna pieces!) that I have featured here are actually available at Gwynnie Bee.  If you are like the old me, and you are nervous about investing in lace pieces, then Gwynnie Bee's "Clothing Without Commitment" options will be perfect for you.

You can order and try out any lace pieces you want, and if you hate it you aren't out $50 or $100, you can just send it back and pick something else out of your virtual closet. Also, Gwynnie Bee heard your wishes (and my wishes), and you can now buy pieces directly from them if you get something home and decide you can't live without it! It's truly the best of both worlds!

I think you look beautiful. The lace has a romantic effect against your pale skin and dark hair. Gywynnie Bee is definitely a great deal!

Lace is so pretty and feminine and I love how romantic and flirty it can be too. You look beautiful in all of these outfits. The first dress is my favorite!

I've always been a bit shy about wearing lace, but I think I'm going to try it out. You wear it so well.

Hi! I just came over here from Putting Me Together and have been perusing your blog for a good half hour or so. Can I just say that I am a volumptuous gal, and am still trying to learn how to dress in a way that is "me." I look at these Pinterest boards and these other sources of inspiration and think I can pull it off, and try and fail miserably, but I love the inspiration that I've gotten from you!! And I recently chopped all of my hair off and LOVE IT! Your cut is super cute, and thanks for all of the awesome posts and inspiration!!

Thank you Aurora! I was frustrated with what was out there as well, and that was the main reason I started blogging! I really appreciate you coming over and reading, and I loved all my short haired sisters!

So, you have awesome lips (is that weird to say? I am weird, so I guess if the shoe fits...). Anyway, I'm loving all of the lace! So classic :)

I loooooooooooove lace. When I was expecting my second, I had an amazing lace dress that I found on ASOS - I only wore it a couple of times, but I got SO many compliments on and now I'm pretty sure I could run a small business just loaning it out. It was this one - http://www.asos.com/ASOS-Maternity/ASOS-Maternity-Katie-Lace-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=1768146 And I always wore it with a black satin sash so I could delineate boobs from belly. Right now, I really want a cream lace pencil skirt.
